    Product Care

Put it on. Leave it on.

TJAURI jewelry is built for your real life — not a jewelry box. Every piece is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with 18K gold plating, engineered to go where you go.

    What your jewelry can handle

Shower. Pool. Ocean. Gym. Sleep. Your TJAURI piece is designed to stay on through all of it. The 316L steel core is tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and waterproof — not water-resistant, waterproof.

    Everyday care

Wipe it down occasionally. After heavy gym sessions or saltwater exposure, a quick wipe with a soft dry cloth keeps it looking sharp. That's it.

Avoid harsh chemicals. Bleach, chlorine-heavy cleaning products, and strong solvents can affect the plating over time. Everyday soap, shampoo, and perfume? Fine — just try to let perfume dry before putting your jewelry on so it doesn't sit directly on the plating.

Keep it away from extreme heat. Direct sunlight for hours or leaving it in a hot car won't help anything. Normal wear in any weather is completely fine.

    If it needs a clean

Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft cloth. Rinse, pat dry, done. For pieces with gemstones or intricate settings, use a soft toothbrush to get into the detail — gentle circular strokes, then rinse clean. No ultrasonic cleaners, no harsh jewelry dips.

    Gemstone and crystal pieces

The metal is bulletproof — the stones need a little more thought. Avoid soaking gemstone pieces for extended periods and keep them away from abrasive surfaces. Wipe with a damp cloth rather than running under a tap for long. Everyday wear including showers is fine; just don't leave them submerged.

If the plating starts to wear

18K gold plating is durable but not permanent — with daily wear over years, high-friction areas like the inside of rings or bracelet clasps may show wear. This is normal and doesn't affect the integrity of the piece. To slow it down: remove rings when working with your hands for extended periods, and avoid rubbing pieces against rough surfaces. If significant wear happens within the first year, that's covered under warranty.

    Untangling chains

Lay the chain flat on a smooth surface. Apply a tiny drop of baby oil or olive oil to the knot and use two pins or a toothpick to gently work it loose — never pull both ends. Patience beats force every time. Once untangled, wipe off the oil with a dry cloth.

    Storing multiple pieces together

Metal on metal scratches. Store pieces separately in the pouches they came in, or use a jewelry organizer with individual compartments. For chains specifically, hang them if you can — it prevents tangling and keeps them looking new longer.

    Rings and sizing

Our adjustable rings are designed to flex — open and close them gently from the base, not the top of the band, to avoid warping the shape. If a fixed ring feels slightly tight or loose, a jeweler can resize it at minimal cost.

    Our 1-year warranty

Every TJAURI piece comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something's not right, we'll make it right. Reach out at tjauri.com/contact.
